Single cell and spatial profiling are rapidly developing, dynamic fields of research, changing the way we view previously intractable problems and allowing for the generation of novel hypotheses. We hope that you will be active participants in the seminar series and the field at Duke.

About Duke SCI RIP

The Duke Single Cell Initiative (SCI) Research In Progress (RIP) Seminar Series launched following a successful virtual Single Cell Colloquium in 2021. Duke SCI (“sky”) RIP's intention is to create an environment in which ongoing research will be presented in two 30-minute talks by wet and dry lab investigators.

Thanks to everyone who took part in the Single Cell Initiative day-long colloquium & seminar series throughout the 2025 spring semester! We will be back Fall 2025 for the next seminar series.

For pictures of the colloquium please visit the SCI-RIP photo album!

Monthly Duke SCI RIP seminars will be held on the 4th Wednesday of the month from 12-1pm, unless otherwise noted. In-person meetings will be held in MSRBIII Room 1125, unless otherwise stated. Pizza and soda will be served at the in-person meetings. Virtual option also available via Zoom (link below).

SCI RIP SPEAKER SCHEDULE

Two 30 minute talks at every meeting. This is a great opportunity to elicit ideas from your peers about data and study design and for trainees to ‘road test’ more lengthy talks.

Please contact [email protected] if you would like to present.
